Bart now lives in Simi Valley, CA and is still very active in "the biz," though today it is more as a writer/producer, than as an actor. As an actor he has done TV (Scrubs, Murphy Brown, Wayan's Brothers, Love and War, etc.) national commercials (Toyota, Rice Krispy Treats, Red Roof Inns, etc.) and movies (My Girl 2, Black Holes). On stage he has performed with Gotham City Improv in NYC, written and directed the shows "Men are Animals", "Men are Animals 2", and "Sumner and Greenberg" in LA. He also did a 3 year stint singing and dancing as Fred Flintstone in an original musical at Universal Studios Hollywood. As a writer, he wrote the pilot for the short lived children's TV show WAY COOL and the feature film THE LAST STOP (1999). His screenplay MICHEAUX won the Best Voice of Color Screenplay at the Ohio Independent Film Festival in 2005. He currently spends his days writing, taking care of his 2 children, David and Abby. Life is great on the left coast. You can see more of what he is up to here - www.bartsumner.com
