My highest congratulations on the achievement that is The Reluctant Dragon!

My wife, three daughters, and I attended the 11 a.m. October 10 performance.  We have been going to about 10 theatrical performances a year since as long as any of my kids can remember.

Amy (9) declared The Reluctant Dragon "the best show ever!"

Katie (4) says "I liked it so much.  I loved it."  Julia (6) is less declarative but absolutely as enthusiastic about the show.

We were fortunate enough to have the privilege of being the first to purchase your CD.  I know the children played it at least 5 times yesterday (a schoolday, no less), and they always play it all the way through because they enjoy *every* song.  They are memorizing the words and enjoy singing it in the odd moment when the CD is not actually playing.

Katie's favorite line is "Listen to your mother!"

My wife and I loved the play.  The story was engaging and very funny.  We especially enjoyed the in-jokes (at least the ones we "got").  The music was fantastic and uplifting.  And your talented cast breathed wonderful life into their characters and left us wanting more.

The lighting and sound were flawless, too, by the way - and we have definitely seen shows that suffered in those areas.  The costumes and set were great.  The children loved Dennis's light-up nose, and we thought the Dragonettes tails added a lovely bounce to their dances.  I was surprised by their sparkling green lipstick - I didn't know green could be so flattering!

We hope you will be inspired to create again.

"The Reluctant Dragon was just delightful.

Our five-year-old granddaughter gets a little apprehensive about seeing something that may be scary so we were a little reluctant to bring her to see a dragon.  We're glad we didn't miss on this wonderful performance.  Emily said this was the best show she has seen (she's been to a total of four). 

We appreciate that the cast takes the time for photos and autographs with the children."
